It was a last day of our trip through the Atacama with "Andes Salt Expeditions" we woke up about 4.00 or 5.00am becouse our drivers were still afraid of Sandstorm, it was so cold that i coudn't feel my fingers and toes and i was stil wondering when sun will rise... after about 1,5 hour of driving cars have stopped to let us see the geysers it was really amazing wathing on that, they also told us that people can see them just before sunrise, cause afterthat they become invisible. I've put my hands inside this hot vapour to get them a littlebit warmer and it really helped but...then my gloves hydrogen sulfid stinked:P
Sun started to rise when we came to one of lagoons with the hot springs. it was really beautiful view, there were a lot of birds there and we saw...three Flamingos;). It was the place where we have eaten breakfast, and aftr that we had few minutes to take a bath in hot spring we decided just to put our foot inside but anyway it was one of the best ideas to make them warmer. After taht we started to drive to a border, we've been going throuh Salvadors Dali desert (becouse of it's colors). It didn't take long until we get to a border, and that's a think that made me thinkin about our agency: that's facking shit - it was still really cold there, there wasn't any place to go in and get warmed and they just left us there and go in thei's way back. We had to wait over two hours for a transfer bus. I've been mad. becouse cars from other agencies waited with people. They served tham warm tee e.t.c. and we were just waiting....but happily transfer came, and we were one of the first people who took places in that. The fanny story is that the French men who sat near me wanted to take Coca leafs through a border, he was really suprised when bus driver told that i's illegal.
We cross the border without special problems, they just asked Simon to pack of his bug becouse they have seen something on computer, but they didn't find anything (later it went out that Simon had an apple, which is prohibided to transfer). Bus left us in San Pedro The Atacama, where we planed to stay for a night. We had a lot of luck becouse on main street talk down to us really nice man who wanted to sell us his tours (to moon wally, sandsnowboarding e.t.c.) but it went out that he arranged us cheaper airport transfer, than that which we found, and adviced really nice and cheap hostel (Luza) not to too far to center on San Pedro.
To not waste our time we just left our things in room that we get, went to city and ate pizza (quite expensiwe and not to big:P) and rent bikes to go to see sunset in death valley (as i remember we paid 2000pesos for 2 hours each)
When we came back owner of hostel invited us on grill party with goat (so gummy meat that i was'n able to snap of a bit:P, but it seemed that they really loved it becouse they left only bones. Of course they also had Pisco, so the party strated, they have been singing playin some music with really strange instruments, eaven danced and made us dance - a lot of fun and really good spended time:)
